R KELLY OVERDOSE WHILE IN PRISON

**CHICAGO, IL - SEPTEMBER 17:** Renowned R&B singer R. Kelly made a notable appearance during a legal hearing at the Leighton Criminal Courthouse on September 17, 2019, amidst the towering concrete structures of Chicago, Illinois. Currently facing a myriad of serious sexual assault charges, the embattled artist is being held without the possibility of bail, a stark reminder of the legal battles that have beset him. In a troubling turn of events, R. Kelly recently filed a motion claiming that he is the target of a sinister plot to murder him, expressing a desperate desire to be placed under home confinement for his safety.

Grouchy Greg Watkins of All HipHop has reported shocking developments regarding the singer’s well-being. Allegedly, R. Kelly experienced a serious overdose while incarcerated last week and has since been released from the hospital, raising alarms about his health and safety in prison.

This distressing news comes shortly after Kelly and his legal team submitted a motion requesting his transfer to home confinement. He believes that white supremacist prison gangs are plotting against him, exacerbating his fears for his life.

According to All HipHop's detailed account of the court filings, R. Kelly was reportedly placed in solitary confinement on June 10th, a bleak and isolating experience, and just two days later, he was administered an increased dosage of medication. The results were severe; he became acutely ill, prompting his hospitalization. His attorneys are now voicing concerns that there may be foul play at hand.

“That means that, within two days of the filing of his motion, Bureau of Prisons officials administered a level of medication that significantly exceeded a safe dosage, resulting in Mr. Kelly's overdose and putting his life in jeopardy,” asserted R. Kelly’s lawyer, Beau B. Brindley. “They provided him with an amount of medicine that could have proven fatal.”

In a further testament to his distressing condition, Brindley revealed that R. Kelly has been refusing to eat due to the lingering fear of another overdose. Medical professionals discovered troubling blood clots in both his legs and lungs, yet prison staff allegedly denied him the necessary treatment. Instead, they returned him to the harsh confines of the prison.

“Within an hour, officers equipped with firearms forcibly entered his hospital room and removed Mr. Kelly,” Brindley alleged. “He was taken from the hospital against his will and in direct contradiction to the directives of the attending physicians. He was unjustly denied the surgery critical for clearing blood clots in his lungs—an issue that poses a serious threat to his life. This incident occurred, and it will be corroborated by hospital records. It is irrefutably true."

With their latest legal filing, R. Kelly's team is vigorously advocating for his swift removal from the North Carolina prison, hoping to secure his safety and well-being. As the clock ticks, only time will reveal whether they will achieve their goal.
